The Young Painter Prize (YPP) is thrilled to announce the official opening of its 16th annual competition. From the pool of eligible submissions, 20 finalists will be selected to showcase their work at the prestigious Vilnius Picture Gallery from November 12, 2024, to January 25, 2025.
The competition invites all young artists working in traditional painting mediums who are between the ages of 18 and 33, are residents or citizens of Lithuania, Latvia, or Estonia, and are yet to establish themselves in the art world. A panel of five esteemed art professionals will serve as the jury, selecting 20 finalists and one grand prize winner.
The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2024.
