Alongside the jury-selected Grand Prize winner and the Luminor Prize for Youth Empowerment, this year’s Young Painter Prize is unique in that the finalists’ exhibition will be shown consecutively in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. At each stop, visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork, and the winning piece in each country will receive a People’s Choice Award.
The exhibition at the Latvian Academy of Art Gallery in Riga has now concluded, and we are pleased to announce that Latvian artist Katrīna Levāne received the highest number of votes for her monumental work forest floor. Congratulations, Katrīna!
